Bullies.

For the Picture Challenge. From left to right: Matt, Mello, and Near (as children).

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE bullies. According to my sister (haha) I've always been a bit of a bully and whenever someone asks me to roleplay I always want to be the meaner character. Mello is so awesome, I can imagine so many different scenes with him bullying Near... but this is the one I decided on for this theme. Mello stole Near's toy and is throwing it to Matt (who has a pink shirt ahaha). Hum. I kinda want to do a follow-up after this.

ARGHH. But my perspective... angling... whatever, it all looks so... so... wrong. I rarely use reference (well, I want to but I seem to have a hard time finding any) so I just kinda had to wing it. I'm not sure if Mello and Near should have been drawn smaller (further away) or if the frog or something is just misplaced or what. If anyone can help me in that area I'd really appreciate it. I'm trying to get better so I'm purposely drawing more difficult things like this. xD; And I know I'm still not using enough color. It's really hard for me to do for some reason, but I shall keep trying/practicing.

I personally do not see anything wrong with the angles. I think it all is perspectively wonderful.

Okay, now for this: OMG HOT. Even as kids *melts* I feel sort of bad for Near because you did so well in making him look like he was in pain. D: You got Mello's sexy face down perfect and Matt is as hot as ever! <3

Well then, I'm glad it's not THAT obvious. (It might seem 100x worse to me because I've been staring at it for two days xD)

I know, I love drawing them as kids. ♥ I guess it's because I get to use my imagination more. Thank you for the nice comments.

I think it may be that Matt needs to be moved. His "I've got it!" position is just BARELY unconvincing (to me). That bear may need repositioning as well.

It's not obvious, but I agree that there is something rather unplaceably wrong with the pic. But it is absolutely fantastic otherwise. :3 I really love the background. (Oh! Maybe it's the background!) Everything is perfectly colorful and vibrant, I don't know what you're talking about; "Not using enough color" my foot! XD

The perspective is good. :] Matt looks like he's about to twist his ankle though, because the foot closest to the camera looks a little slanted to the left.

But this is awesome. Poor Near.... Although he probably deserves it, that little wannabe albino. xD

I love Matt's pants too. :3

xD Ahaha, yeah. I never drew a pose like that before. His hands look kind of unnatural to me too, but ah well. I'll keep practicing.

Ohh, I didn't even notice that about his foot. Thanks for pointing it out!

Near's not entirely innocent. He probably provoked him... but still, it's so amusingly mean how Mello picks on him. <3
