You see, I have horrible social anxiety. Conventions are the worst for me... I tend to get panic attacks/emotional breakdowns because of all of the people and I don't really know what to do. But if I have one or two people with me it really helps because I feel "safer". So yes, that is why I'm looking for people to hang out with.

But why do you say you aren't worthy? Cosplaying DN is fun!

But, for cosplaying DN, Im a girl and not in the best of shapes, we shall say.
I know that everyone says that size doesn't matter, but..... I feel more comfortable as a character that is at least in my area. Plus, I just feel that I wouldn't be doing the character justice. But you do the part of Near very well. You have the persona to fit him perfectly.

As for past stuff, I've done Lord Ilpallazo from Excel Saga and Sophitia from Soul Calibur, and I intend to be a Samurai 7 character in the future, but not this year. I actually am trying to create an Umbrella Demon costume this year in time for AnimeIowa.

And I can understand the need to feel safer, especially if you are there by yourself. Cons are to be together with friends. Though, If I am there, my 3 other friends will be there as well. We all make the trek together. THough I kinda want to convince them to fly out there this year, I hate driving 10 hours.
