I don't have to say it--I love Death Note. Anyways, I wanted to try and make something a little more serious... or strange... and since I've been getting into emo-esque things I wanted to create an emo L and emo Light. L's supposed to be an older teenager so Light is... 13 maybe? I'm not sure about their age difference. xD Yay~ I'm sure you can pull your own stories from it.

Umhmm... I like the drawing, but it didn't come out the exact way I wanted it to color-wise, so I really don't want to consider this "finished". In fact, I really don't like the coloring... (haha, have I ever been completely satisfied with my coloring skills? Guess not, but I'm kinda learning on my own here). I really need some advice/critique so I can try to improve it.

ohmigosh, L looks so unbelivably cute with the long hair :heart:
lovin this Hyura :heart: I really like the background too, its not plain, but its simple, and it really suits this. i like the little deatils like the creamers, they're really cute :3
I can't really offer any critique on this, I'm sorry. I'll try though. the only thing i can really point out is that the couch and curtains need maybe some more depth in shadiong like? ^^;; that make sense?

Thank you. x3 There HAD to be creamers. L may be emo in this pic but he still has some traditional L qualities, haha.

Yeah, the curtains need some work. xD Not sure how I can add more depth to the sofa, but I'll look for some reference and see if that helps. Thanks!

hmm, i just think that the sofa maybe doesn't have as much detail in the colouring as the rest of the picture.

I love that pair I always thought that in different circumstances they would have been good friends.
As for the coloring I love the sight out the windiow and the doll is just perfect I don't think those need improving. But you could give more definition to the table and the sofa they seem kind of plain.
By the way I love the bit of L's foot that we can see and the cut marks on his arm as well.
